Is the X9 airline or cruise approved for travel?
The 12 AH (288 WH) lithium-ion battery is approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. However, it's always best to confirm current battery regulations with your specific carrier before traveling.
Can I recline the backrest while moving?
While the backrest can be reclined up to 55° from the upright position, it should only be used when the wheelchair is stationary to prevent tipping and serious injury.
What happens if my battery dies—can the wheelchair be pushed manually?
Yes. If the battery runs out, you can disengage the motors by flipping both lever switches to the "unlocked" position, allowing the chair to be pushed like a manual wheelchair.
Can I turn the wheelchair on or off using the remote control?
No. You must power on the wheelchair first before using the remote—this allows the remote to properly pair with the chair’s onboard controller.
Does the chair come fully assembled?
The X9 arrives mostly assembled. You'll just need to attach a few parts—like the joystick or footrests—before it's ready for use.
