In 2004, Aston Zhu embarked on a journey from Detroit to Los Angeles, encountering a car accident survivor with severe PTSD in need of safer transportation. He also met a young man aspiring to own a convenient mode of transport and an elderly man desiring assisted biking. These encounters inspired Aston to create an e-bike brand for people facing similar challenges.
