Our goal is to help our customers regain their independence and navigate their environment with ease. We offer a wide selection of mobility scooters, all of which are durable and require minimal maintenance.

Our brand-trusted lightweight travel scooters are perfect for individuals looking to travel long distances, and we have the best selection on the market. No matter what your needs are, we are confident that we have the perfect mobility scooter for you.

When choosing a mobility scooter for air travel, it's important to consider portability and ease of disassembly. These features will allow you to easily store the scooter in the cargo hold of an airplane.

The FAA has regulations regarding the transport of lithium batteries on airplanes. These batteries, which are commonly used in mobility scooters, can be brought on the plane as either checked or carry-on luggage, as long as they do not exceed 300 watt-hours (Wh). It is also allowed to bring a maximum of one spare battery not exceeding 300 Wh, or two spares not exceeding 160 Wh each, as carry-on luggage. To calculate the watt-hours of a battery, you can use the formula: voltage x amp-hours = watt-hours. For example, a 24-volt, 11.5 amp-hour battery has a watt-hour rating of 276.

If the battery is not removed from the mobility scooter, it must be protected against other baggage or cargo during transportation. If the scooter does not provide adequate protection for the battery, it must be removed, the terminals covered, and brought on the plane as carry-on luggage.

Before traveling with your mobility scooter, it's important to contact your airline to understand their specific policies and procedures for transporting batteries and mobility devices. You may need to plan ahead and allow extra time for check-in. It's also a good idea to check with the airline about whether your folded-up scooter will be allowed in the passenger cabin or if it will need to be transported as checked baggage.
