• 15° Self-Lateral Rotation: Specially designed 15-degree self-lateral rotation utilizing cone-shaped air cells. Continuously deflating and inflating cone-shaped air cells provide a regular wave and soft self-lateral rotation via alternating pressure. Therapy redistributes user’s weight to alleviate pressure points and stimulate blood flow, preventing bedsores.
• Side Bolster + Sinking Feature + Centralization: Cone-shaped air cells allow the mattress surface to sink up to 5 inches deep, keeping patient centralized during alternating and self-lateral wave rotation. Creates a 9-inch soft barrier to keep the patient safely placed in bed, even during 40-degree rotation. Grants easy access to caregivers.
• Fowler And Seating: Designed to increase support in the seat/torso section of the mattress when the head of the bed is raised. Prevents patients from “bottoming out.”
• Dynamic Low Air Loss: Below the cover layer, dynamic low air loss (LAL) therapy (16 liters per minute) removes humidity under the patient. Transfers moisture and heat away from the patient’s skin, maximizing comfort and support for those with stage 1-4 pressure ulcers.
• Cell-on-Cell Mattress Design: 24-hour power outage protection to prevent bottoming out during power failure. Bottom layer remains inflated if air hose is connected to the control unit. Control unit located on the footboard manages all functions.
• Features Of Cover: Designed to minimize friction and shearing of the skin. Vapor permeable to facilitate moisture removal into the airflow away from the mattress. Liquid resistant, fireproof, latex, lead, and mercury-free. Air cells composed of thermoplastic polyurethane and nylon (TPU), are liquid-proof, airtight, and machine washable.
