Introducing the ObboMed OB-1600 Low Air Loss Mattress, a premium mattress designed for bedridden and recovering individuals. With alternating pressure and low air loss, it prevents bedsores and skin ulcers. Say goodbye to discomfort and promote faster healing with our exclusive mattress.

Key Details

  • Self-Lateral Wave Rotation: This allows for alternation and self-rotation simultaneously, enhancing comfort and reducing the need for manual adjustments.
  • Minimizes Friction And Shearing: This reduces the risk of pressure ulcers and skin damage, providing a safer and more comfortable experience for the user.
  • Enhanced Breathability: Keeps the user dry and comfortable, reducing the risk of skin irritation and maintaining hygiene.
  • Low Air Loss Feature: Helps to maintain a cooler and drier sleeping environment by managing moisture and heat.
  • Antimicrobial, Fireproof, And Liquid-Resistant: Provides a safer and more hygienic sleeping environment, preventing the growth of harmful bacteria and protecting against spills and fire hazards.
  • Free From Harmful Materials: Ensures the safety and health of the user, reducing the risk of allergic reactions and exposure to toxic substances.

15° Self-Lateral Rotation

Our innovative design features 15-degree self-lateral rotation utilizing cone-shaped air cells. These cells continuously deflate and inflate, providing the user with a regular wave of soft self-lateral rotation through alternating pressure. This therapy helps redistribute the user’s weight to alleviate pressure points while stimulating blood flow to nourish the skin and prevent bedsores.

Side Bolster + Sinking Feature + Centralization

Specially designed cone-shaped air cells enable the mattress to sink up to 5 inches, centralizing the patient while alternating and self-lateral-wave rotation are activated. This creates a 9-inch soft barrier that keeps the patient securely placed in the bed, even during a 40-degree rotation, while still allowing easy access for caregivers.

Fowler & Seating

The Fowler/Seating feature is designed to enhance support in the seat and torso section of the mattress. When the head of the bed is raised, this feature helps prevent patients from "bottoming out," ensuring their safety and comfort.

Dynamic Low Air Loss

Beneath the cover layer, the dynamic low air loss (LAL) therapy operates at 16 liters per minute. This feature removes humidity under the patient while simultaneously wicking away moisture and heat from the patient's skin and contact areas with the mattress. It maximizes comfort and support for adults of all ages living with stage 1-4 pressure ulcers.

Cover Features

  • Designed to reduce friction and skin shearing
  • Vapor-permeable for efficient moisture removal into the airflow away from the mattress
  • Allows perspiration to dissipate through the mattress cover surface or the patient's bed boundary
  • Liquid-resistant and fireproof
  • Free from latex, lead, and mercury
  • Below the cover layer, vapor is expelled using the Low Air Loss Feature to reduce humidity under the patient while simultaneously removing moisture and heat
  • Air cells are made from a blend of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and nylon, ensuring they are airtight with high-frequency heat sealing and are both liquid-proof and machine washable
